Class Transfer Policy
Due to numerous difficulties with students transferring
from class to class, and dealing with price differences, we have decided
to change our transfer policy.
You may transfer into any new class that
is the same price as your original class. For all other circumstances,
you must cancel the original class, then sign up for the new class.
In order to keep our records as neat as
possible, we will only transfer your class one time.

Class Parking
Day classes: Do not park in front of the Sears building,
they may tow your vehicle! Parking is available on the east side of
our building.
Night classes: Please park in back of our store and use the classroom
door. The store reopens 15 minutes before class starts.
How to start quilting:
Where should I begin to learn to quilt? First you
need to learn to use the tools. We offer an Orientation to Quilting
series that will get you started on how to use a rotary cutter and how
to make a proper 1/4" seam.
Our It's OK class will start you down
the quilting road by stressing new easy techniques, accurate machine
piecing, and straight line machine quilting. You will finish a Triple
Rail quilt in this class.
Next you might try the Simply Sampler
class. This class teaches additonal skills such as curved piecing, triangles
and many other techniques over a longer period of time. You will finish
a sampler quilt in this class and many of the blocks can also be used
to create still more quilts.
Other classes labeled "all levels"
could now be added to your quilting experience. Specific techniques
such as hand appliqué, hand quilting and machine quilting are
taught in separate classes so you can improve these skills.
You are well on your way to becoming an
accomplished quilter!
When should I sign up for a
class?
Often we are asked when should I sign up for the
class? We ask our customers to please enroll in a class at their earliest
convenience. If you do not sign up at least two or three weeks in advance,
the class may fill and you will be disappointed. Also we have given
all our classes a Meet the Minimum date and if we do not have the minimum
number of students enrolled, we will cancel the class on that date.
Sooo...if you wait too long the class may be full or you might have
been the one person we needed to meet the minimum enrollment and the
class would not have been cancelled.
